LU XI XI

I'm a physical geographer with research and teaching experiences in fluvial geomorphology, in particular, in sediment and carbon fluxes in large Asian rivers such as Yellow River, Yangtze River, Pearl River, Red River, Mekong River, Salween and Irrawaddy. I jointly organized a series of workshops on large Asian rivers and was involved in publishing 10 special volumes as one of the Guest Editors on large Asian rivers in Quaternary International.

I'm currently a co-editor of Singapore Journal of Tropical Geography, an associate editor of International Journal of Sediment Research, and Hydrological Processes,  and an editorial board member of Earth Surface Processes and Landforms.
