REGISTRATION FOR THE 2024 METHODS SCHOOL IS NOW CLOSED.

ON-CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS ARE FULL.

 

Methods School participants have the opportunity to stay accommodation at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Within NUS, many participants opt to stay in UTown for the duration of the Methods School. The standard room with A/C (virtual tour) in the UTown Residential Colleges has:

• • Bedroom with single bed, wardrobe, bookshelf, study table, ceiling fan.
  • Shared bathrooms.

The price of the single room with A/C is S$60.00 (excluding GST) per night of accommodation.

The 3 options are as follows:

Check in: 30 June 2024 (Sunday) between 9am to 7pm

Check out: If you are staying for Week 1 of Methods School only, check out before 12 noon on 6 July 2024 (Saturday), or

if you are staying for both weeks or only Week 2 of Methods School, check out before 12 noon on 13 July 2024 (Saturday).

Moving around NUS

The Methods School venues are within easy walking distance for U-Town Residences. You can also take the free NUS internal shuttle bus. The information of the shuttle can be found here and participants are encouraged to download the NUSNEXT Bus app (available in both Apple App and Google Play Store) to access the bus arrival timing and stops. A copy of the app tutorial can be found here.  The nearest stop to our methods school classroom is at the Central Library and AS8.

 

Staying off Campus

Staying on campus should be much more convenient and affordable than most off-campus accommodation options. However, if you prefer to live off campus, lists compiled by the NUS Office of Student Affairs (list 1) may provide you with some helpful leads. See also here for a short list of hotels.
