Clara Lee

Dr Clara Lee is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies Social Lab, National University of Singapore. She obtained her PhD in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Master of Social Sciences (Political Science) and a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours from the National University of Singapore. Clara’s research examines the role and influence of public opinion, exploring how beliefs and perceptions about various social phenomena shape decision-making and behaviour. These issues span topics including social and economic mobility as well as the political economy of labour. Employing national and online surveys in much of her work, she is involved in multiple stages of the survey process including questionnaire design, fieldwork, data analysis, and the reporting of findings that are accessible to a wide range of audiences. Clara also teaches the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (UROP), public policymaking, and international political economy at the National University of Singapore.
