Bruno Cautrès is Professor of Political Science at the Center for Political Research of Sciences Po Paris. He graduated from the University of Grenoble, where he also earned his PhD. He is co-author of a book on public opinion in Turkey and the European Union (2011), co-editor of The New Voter in Western Europe. France and Beyond (2011), and has contributed to such major comparative surveys as the International Social Survey Program, European Social Survey, and European Values Study. In addition to the development of methods in political sociology, he is interested in public policy analysis, regional integration, and research on elections, political participation, and public opinion. He has previously taught at the ECPR Summer School in Methods and Techniques at the University of Ljubljana and Central European University in Budapest, the Sciences Po Summer School, and the IPSA Summer Schools in Ankara and São Paulo.
