Assistant Professor Lu Weiquan of the Department of Communications and New Media has developed a mobile application known as ConjAR. Exhibited at NUS on Nov 21-22 at the second National Conference on Technology-Enhanced Learning, this app allows users to design and showcase 3D augmented reality scenes without prior training.

It is one of the many emerging attempts to ‘gamify’ education, a process which aims to allow students to learn through a more familiar, multisensory and thus more thoroughly engaging manner.
