Trans and Gender-Nonconforming Lives

Dear NUS Staff/Students,
You are invited to a Roundtable Discussion titled ‘Trans and Gender-Nonconforming Lives’.
In this roundtable discussion, we invite six speakers who identify as transgender and gender-nonconforming and/or have worked closely with trans and gender-nonconforming people to share their stories and experiences with us. This will be followed by a Q&A session where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and join the larger conversation.
Moderator: Michelle Ho (she/her), Assistant Professor and Steering Committee Member of Gender and Sexuality Research Cluster (GSRC)

Speakers:
Jolene Tan (she/her), an NUS student and member of TransNUS, a peer support and representation group for trans students in NUS
Ashlee Tan (she/her), a trans student at Millennia Institute
Quen Wong (she/her), a freelance filmmaker and volunteer at Transbefrienders, a peer support service for trans youths in Singapore
Seth (he/him), researcher and volunteer at Transbefrienders, a peer support service for trans youths in Singapore
Shu Min Yuen (she/her), NUS Department of Japanese Studies
Stella Tan (she/her), NUS Associate Provost of Student Conduct
It will be held on 26 March 2021 from 11am – 1 pm (Singapore Standard Time).
