"Singapore's growth story is known to the world; what remains hidden however, is its cause. From a foreigner's point of view, I feel it is the essence of its people that drove this transformation. Despite the lack of favourable conditions, Singaporeans developed from scratch, a country that everyone wants to be in. When I think of this red dot, the first image that comes to my mind is its magnificent skyline. In this photograph, I have attempted to capture the modern skyscrapers along with the country's historic landmark and silent spectator of change - The Old Supreme Court Building. In my opinion, nothing reflects the Singapore story better than these man-made marvels."
