CFPR Milestones
CFPR Celebrated its 10th anniversary in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Population Association of Singapore (PAS) on 16th & 17th May 2024. The event featured Guest-of-Honour Minister Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, along with prominent Keynote Speakers – Prof Wolfgang Lutz and Dr Sabine Henning.
With the lifting of COVID-19 Restrictions, CFPR was able to come together to celebrate our 8th anniversary in 2022!
CFPR's 5th anniversary celebration in 2019 was graced by Mr. Desmond Lee, then-Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister for National Development. CFPR presented on projects such as the Singapore Longitudinal Early Development Study (SG LEADS).
The Centre for Family and Population Research (CFPR) was established as a faculty-level centre on April 1, 2014. Then-Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Environment and Water Affairs & Foreign Affairs, Ms. Grace Fu, attended the official launch on 28 April 2015.
