BUSINESS CHINESE CONVERSATION

Why Learn Chinese? It is because one-fifth of the planet speaks Mandarin Chinese. Mandarin Chinese is the mother tongue of over one billion people, making it the most widely spoken first language in the world.
Learning Chinese gives you a better understanding through the grammar and even how the Chinese words are derived of the culture behind them.
We designed to provide an insight to Mandarin as a language and the understanding of Chinese culture.

We are using an interactive and communicative approach to teaching the language. Students are expected to be able to communicate in Mandarin both in conversational and writing in simple daily situations (e.g. talk about nationality, family, study, appointment in Chinese) after taking the level one course.

Business Chinese Conversation Learning Outcome

Business Chinese Conversation (Elementary) - After learning from the text, new words, notes, and exercises, students will be able to communicate effectively in daily and business life as well as to understand latest business trend in China.

Business Chinese Conversation (Intermediate) - After learning from the text, new words, notes, and exercises, students will be able to understand the latest trends, topics and expressions that have emerged in China’s foreign trade and the current situation of China.

Business Chinese Conversation (Advanced) - After learning from the text, new words, notes, and exercises, students will not only be able to communicate effectively in daily and business life, but also understand China’s economic situations and investment environment.

A certificate will be awarded to participants who successfully complete each level.

Course Description:  Business Chinese Conversation (Elementary) is designed for students to understand the forms of Chinese and Chinese usage appropriate to the latest trends, topics and expressions that have emerged in China’s foreign trade and the current situation of China.

Course Objectives: The learning objective is for students to understand various usage of Chinese language relevant to business context with reference to latest trends and expressions in China's foreign trade exchanges.

Topics Covered: The topics covered include buying and selling, bargaining, choosing goods, commercial services, sales advertising, management characteristics, public relations, sales tactics, etc. Authentic materials will be included for the course.
