BAHASA INDONESIA PROGRAMME CONSULTANT

Miss. Indrianti joined the Centre for Language Studies as an Instructor in for Bahasa Indonesia Program in July 2007 and she was
promoted as a lecturer in 2011. She received her bachelor degree in English Education from Sanata Dharma University and her Master
of Education in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) from School of Education, Boston University. Prior to joining NUS, she
taught English at various universities in Indonesia, including Sanata Dharma University, Atmajaya University and Duta Wacana University.
In 2004, she received a Fulbright Grant to teach Bahasa Indonesia as a foreign language at the University of Hawai'i, Manoa. Indrianti's
research and teaching interests are in the area of applied linguistics include Second Language Acquisition, Sociolinguistics, Intercultural
Studies, as well as areas of language material and assessment development and drama education. Additional area of interest includes
performing arts, especially theatre.

Miss Indrianti is one of the recipients of Faculty Teaching Excellence Award 2017, FASS -NUS
