SPANISH PROGRAMME CONSULTANT

Ms Nina Melero is the current Course Convenor for the Spanish Language Programme at NUS.

She holds a MA in Applied Linguistics for Spanish Language Teaching from the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija (Madrid)
as well as a MPhil and other certificates (MA and BA) in the field of Translation Studies from the Universidad de Salamanca
in Spain. She was recruited by the Centre for Language Studies at NUS in 2015 to set up and coordinate the new Spanish
language programme.

Prior to joining NUS, she taught at various universities in the UK, including the University of Exeter, the University of
Westminster, the University of Greenwich, and the Open University. Ms Nina also taught at Kingston University (London),
where she designed the Faculty’s new MA programme in Translation Studies (validated in 2011). Her publications include
research articles, books for language learners, and fiction.
