  • Responsibility for Course Selection
    The learner shall be solely responsible for ensuring that the course selected is suitable and correct at the point of registration. The NUS Centre for Language Studies shall not be liable for any incorrect registrations made by the learner.
  • Payment Terms
    Full payment of all applicable course fees must be received within one week after the offer has been given on the Lifelong Learning Application Portal (L3AP) in order to secure a place in the course. The NUS Centre for Language Studies reserves the right to release any unconfirmed registrations without prior notice in the event that payment is not received by the stated deadline.
  • Enrolment Policy
    Enrolment in the course is strictly on a first come, first served basis. A place in the course shall only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment. The NUS Centre for Language Studies shall have sole discretion in determining enrolment priority based on payment receipt.
  • No Refund Policy
    All fees paid are strictly non-refundable after the "No refund" date, regardless of the circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal, absence, or inability to attend. The "No refund" date can be found on the L3AP course page once it is published.
  • Responsibility for Schedule Compatibility
    The learner acknowledges and agrees that it is their sole responsibility to ensure that the scheduled course sessions do not conflict with their personal, professional, or other commitments. The NUS Centre for Language Studies shall bear no responsibility for any such conflicts.
  • Course Transfer
    Course transfer requests after payment has been made will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The decision to approve/reject requests are final and no appeals will be considered. Requests for course transfers after the course has commenced will be rejected regardless of the circumstances of the requestor.
  • Online Course Access and Technical Requirements
    As the course is delivered online, the learner is responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary equipment, internet connectivity, and technical capability to access and participate in sessions via Zoom. The learner is also responsible for resolving any technical issues relating to their own equipment, software, internet connection, or ability to access Zoom, and such issues will not be considered the responsibility of the course provider.
  • Amendments to Terms and Conditions
    We reserve the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect upon publication or notification to learners, as applicable.
