Course Information

CNM offers a wide range of courses, allowing maximum flexibility for each student to curate a distinct educational experience based on their own interests and capabilities. In general, courses offered in CNM can be broadly clustered into three categories:

  • Foundation
  • Domain Knowledge
  • Skillsets

Beyond the five compulsory courses (NM1101E, NM2101, NM2103, NM2104, NM3550Y), CNM students can take courses from as many clusters as they wish. The ten clusters are shown below.

To ensure continued relevance to industry trends and to reflect the latest innovation in research and teaching, the department regularly reviews its courses and the curriculum. Do expect changes to current courses as CNM incorporates the new College of Humanities and Sciences (CHS) focus on interdisciplinary learning and graduation requirements to produce the most enriching undergraduate learning experience.
