IAMCR 2024 Conference

CNM is attending the IAMCR 2024 Conference!
Founded in 1957, IAMCR is a leading global association for media and communication researchers, fostering academic thought and expression. Supported by a diverse network of over 2,800 members from more than 100 countries, IAMCR promotes media research addressing socio-political, technological, policy, and cultural processes. This year's conference theme, "Whiria te tāngata / Weaving People Together," inspired by a Māori proverb, focuses on decolonising communication, engaging with diversity, and listening. Participants are invited to explore contemporary communication challenges and contribute to the collective goal of building a stronger, interconnected academic community.
We are proud to announce that 15 of our faculty members and student researchers will be presenting at IAMCR 2024. Be sure to give them your support as they share their research and contribute to the vibrant discussions at the conference!
