CCRN Workshop: The Communicative City in the Pandemic Age
The Covid-19 global pandemic has resulted in the reconsideration of the urban landscape as a place to live and work. The Communicative City Research Network invites you to a 3-part workshop to interrogate the redefinition of the communicative city.
This third session questions the "Sense & Embodiment" of the city, or how the pandemic has helped elucidate a new mode of taking up space in the city, a new way of feeling its textures, rhythms and movements.
Speakers and topics for the session include:
- Prof Susan Drucker & Prof Gary Gumpert – The Future of the Communicative City and the Urban Sensorium
- Chris Parkinson – The Future of the Communicative City in a Pandemic Age
- Isabel Fangyi Lu – Taiwan is a place, not a problem: Infodemic and actor-network theory
