Shreenjit KAUR
 Hi, I am Shreen, a PhD student in English Language and Linguistics at the National University of Singapore. I am currently a Teaching Fellow at the National Institute of Education, where I teach courses in English language education, academic writing and professional communication.
Prior to this, I worked as a primary school teacher and curriculum planning officer with Singapore’s Ministry of Education. My doctoral research aims to examine how gender is represented through linguistic and visual choices in children’s literature and how teachers mediate these representations. My broader research interests include gender and language, critical discourse studies, children’s literature and English language education.
