Sam QU Ze-quan

I’m a Master by Research student in English Language and Linguistics. I received my BA (Honors) in English Studies – Language Technology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in 2025.

My research interests lie in theoretical linguistics, particularly syntax, semantics, and their interface. I’m especially interested in topics related to time and event in natural language, negation, finiteness, and null categories. I’m also passionate about learning how natural language processing (NLP) and theoretical linguistics can inform each other.
