“Contemporary Tradition – Japanese Performance Genre Today” is a three-day conference (Oct 13 – 15, 2016) organized by Associate Professor Lim Beng Choo from the Department of Japanese Studies, NUS,  with support from the Japan Foundation,  the Japan Creative Centre  and the Arts House. The conference was held in celebration of the 50 years of diplomatic ties between Japan and Singapore, as well as the 35th anniversary of the Department of Japanese Studies.
