| Brief Introduction | Ten Chin Liew (C.L. Ten) is a professor of philosophy whose main interests are in legal and political philosophy, especially in issues relating to liberty and toleration. Recent appointments include: Professor of Philosophy (Personal Chair) Monash University; Invitation Fellow, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science; Honorary Consultant, Law Reform Commission of Victoria; Visiting Professor, Graduate School, City University of New York; Adjunct Professor, Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics, Charles Sturt University, Canberra Campus. He was elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities (FAHA) in 1989, and a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia (FASSA) in 2000. He is on the Editorial Board of several international journals, including Australasian Journal of Philosophy, Utilitas, Journal of Political Philosophy, Bioethics, Journal of Moral Philosophy, and Politics, Philosophy and Economics. |
