The Singapore Research Nexus at the NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) is holding ‘Singapore Heritage Roundtable’, an event featuring four research projects on Singapore Heritage:

1. ‘In Their Own Ways: Identification and Documentation of Singapore’s Chinese Medicine’ by Dr YANG Yan (Research Fellow, NUS Chinese Studies)

2. ‘Mapping Middle Road: Prewar Japanese Community in Singapore’ by Dr Clay EATON (Lecturer, NUS Japanese Studies)

3. ‘Re-interpreting Fashion Narratives in Singapore: De-colonising the Modern’ by Dr Jinna TAY (Senior Lecturer, NUS Communications and New Media)

4. ‘Small Businesses and Shops of Chinatown, 1819-1980s’ by Dr Guo-Quan SENG (Assistant Professor, NUS History)
