Social Service Initiatives to Better Society
Ee Peng Liang Memorial Fund
The Ee Peng Liang Memorial Fund was established to encourage people to make a positive difference in the lives of others, in memory of the late Dr Ee Peng Liang, who was well-known in Singapore's charity scene as a champion for building a caring community and contributed greatly to the social service sector.
The fund provides scholarships to students pursuing Social Work at the undergraduate and graduate levels. It also gives out Social Impact Awards to provide support and recognition to those who have demonstrated distinctive solutions to address social challenges in Asia and who have displayed commitment towards transforming lives for the better. The fund also organises the Social Service Leaders Exchange Program, with the aim of contributing to the skills and professional development of promising young social workers in the region.
