The Centre for Language Studies offers undergraduate courses, public courses and customised courses to lifelong learners.
Full time courses for NUS alumnus only
NUS alumnus who are interested to take up the undergraduate language courses may apply for the courses through NUS School of Continuing and Lifelong Education (SCALE). Please visit SCALE website for more information.
When applying, please download the declaration form and submit it with your application to SCALE.
Under the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) initiative, graduating students from cohort 2017 onwards who have completed
ONLY some of the course requirements for Minor in Language Studies before graduating may also return to take up the sixth and higher level courses and to stack it to what they had previously completed in order to obtain a “Specialist Certificate”.

Part-time courses
Our part-time courses are eligible for Skills Future Credit, National Silver Academy Grant and Post-Secondary Education Account Scheme.

Customised courses
We can also customise language courses to the specific needs of companies or interest groups.
