Ms Sophie Micheline Undorf

Brief Introduction

Ms. Sophie Undorf-Bouvier is a deputy convenor and lecturer of French at the Centre for Language Studies (CLS), National University of Singapore (NUS). She joined CLS in 2020 as a part-time lecturer and transitioned to a full-time role in 2021. Ms. Undorf-Bouvier holds two advanced master’s degrees: an advanced Master's degree in Political Sciences with a specialization in Political Sociology and European Studies from ULB-Belgium, and an advanced Master's degree in Teaching French as a Second Language with a focus on Engineering Teacher Professional Development from CLA-France.

Prior to joining the French Language Program at NUS, she was the director of a language center in Singapore. Since 2018, she has been the President of the Association of French Teachers in Singapore (APFS), where she aims to promote and develop the French language and the Francophonie in Singapore and in the region.
