New Editorial Appointments
Several faculty members have taken on new editorial responsibilities this year.
Gregory Cox has been appointed as an associate editor at the Review of Economics and Statistics. This journal focuses on applied (especially quantitative) economics and has published some of the most important articles in empirical economics. Professor Cox joined the Department in 2019, and his work in econometrics is on relaxing and simplifying the assumptions required for estimation and inference in common models. Recently he has worked on weak identification and partial identification in nonlinear structural models, factor models, and moment inequality models.
Jessica Pan has taken up appointments as associate editor at the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and the Journal of Population Economics. Professor Pan has been with the department since 2010. She is a labor economist with research interests in gender, immigration, and education. Lu Jingfeng is also an associate editor at the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization.
Zhou Junjie has joined the editorial board of the Journal of Mathematical Economics as an associate editor. This journal provides a forum for work that develops economic theory through formal mathematical reasoning. Professor Zhou has been with the Department since 2016. His research focuses on social and economic networks, industrial organization, and game theory.
In addition, Satoru Takahashi has recently been appointed a co-editor of this journal, having served as an associate editor since 2013. He joins John Quah, who is also a co-editor at this journal.
