HAN Kunmei

I got my bachelor’s degree in Translation from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in 2020. Now I’m a research master student at ELL NUS, primarily focusing on phonetics and phonology studies.

My interest in linguistics started from a corpus study of neologisms in my undergraduate. Besides, I also studied the acoustic properties of selected English and Mandarin consonant pairs during undergraduate. I’m interested in theoretical linguistics, especially generative phonology and generative syntax.

In my spare time, I love practicing Chinese calligraphy and playing the piano.
