LIM Yu Cong, Darryl

I am a director, researcher, facilitator, theatre-maker, and most importantly, a human being. I am particularly interested in using the self as a mechanism for authority. Instead of relying on lineages for legitimacy, how can the teacher-student relationship be reimagined, such that the student can become and develop their own person? I completed the Master of Arts (Theatre and Performance Studies) programme at NUS, during which I wrote about Approaching Authenticity in Grotowski’s Theatre of Productions. For my undergraduate studies, I graduated from the Bachelor of Arts programme at NUS, with Honours and a double major in English Literature and Theatre Studies.
