Global Studies 10th Anniversary Homecoming Lunch

Back in 2013, the Global Studies (GL) program was conceived by the NUS Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences (FASS) as a response to the pressing need for an interdisciplinary approach in understanding the multifaceted consequences of globalization across political, economic, social, and cultural spheres.

Since then, NUS Global Studies has evolved tremendously and 10 batches of GL students have graduated, embracing the ever-changing world around us! In commemoration of this historic milestone, the NUS Global Studies Programme and Global Studies Alumni Network have come together to organise the NUS Global Studies 10th Anniversary Homecoming Lunch.

At the event, we plan to share with you some of the developments taking place in the Global Studies program, such as the establishment of the Global Studies Alumni Network that was established just this year.  We also hope to learn more about what Global Studies can do for you as you progress in your careers and make important life choices.

We look forward to bringing you back home to campus for the Global Studies 10th Anniversary Homecoming Lunch!

Securing Your Seats

Originally planned as a dinner, due to unforeseen circumstances, those plans had to be scrapped.  But we noticed as we were publicizing the dinner, many of you preferred a more informal affair on campus.  We listened to your requests and planned this homecoming lunch instead.  Within a week of testing the idea with alumni, nearly 30 alumni wrote to us asking to secure a seat!

As this will be a catered event, please register your interest by emailing the account below (see "Contact us").  We are limiting seats to the first 50 alumni who email us.  Several spots have already been reserved so please email us immediately to reserve any remaining seats for you and your friends.

Lunch is complimentary for all those who register.
