The Centre was delighted to host Pol Antràs from 4th to 8th April 2016, in collaboration with the Department of Economics at NUS. A leading trade economist, Pol's work has helped to shape thinking within the economics profession on the topics of global sourcing and the global fragmentation of production processes. During his time in Singapore, Pol engaged with the members of GPN@NUS to provide input on the Centre's ongoing research program, while also delivering a research seminar on his latest work on the relationship between trade and inequality when redistribution is costly.
