Stefano Ponte (Copenhagen Business School)

The Centre was delighted to host its International Advisory Committee member Stefano Ponte as a Visiting Professor from 2nd-26th May 2016. Stefano is well known for his work on modes of governance and upgrading processes in global production networks, with a recent focus on environmental upgrading trajectories. During his time with us, Stefano attended and gave advice at our Centre research meetings/workshops, delivered a research seminar, initiated a collaborative research project in Indonesia, and worked on several writing projects encompassing a book on sustainability governance in global value chains, and papers on power in global value chains and the potential impacts of 3D printing. Stefano was based in the Department of Geography at NUS for the month.
