GPN@NUS was pleased to host Xing Yuqing from 14th April to 13th May 2016. A member of the Centre's International Advisory Council, Yuqing has worked extensively on understanding the implications of global value chains in East Asia, and how this has influenced the conduct of trade and exchange rate policy in the region. During his stay, Yuqing delivered a seminar on "Rising Wages, Yuan’s Appreciation and China’s Processing Exports".
