About the Course
In this course, learners will be equipped with competencies on financial capability which focuses on working lower-income families to achieve income stability, improve their financial capability and begin asset building with the overarching aim to improve their longer-term financial well-being by taking on a life course perspective.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Who Should Attend
Practitioners without social work qualifications, who are working with lower-income/financially vulnerable individuals and families.
Course Requirements
At least a diploma (in any discipline). Applicants who are part of an organisation that works with lower-income individuals/families are preferred.
If you have qualifications in social work, that is, a basic degree majoring in social work or a graduate diploma in social work, please register for Financial Capability and Asset Building for Social Workers.
Note: The Basic course is not a prerequisite for attending the Intermediate course.
