Self-Introduction:
I was born in a rural area of Thailand, where I grew up observing how Chinese communities gradually became part of Thai society, even though my own family was not Chinese. These early experiences sparked my curiosity about how culture and identity shape the way people live together. Later, I had the privilege of joining a Thai delegation to China during the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our two countries. That journey left a deep impression on me and inspired my enduring fascination with understanding China’s remarkable path of development and transformation.

Thesis Title: Chinese Newspapers in Thailand and Overseas Chinese Contemporary Political Ideology (tentative)
Thesis Research Area:
This research examines the political ideologies and cultural identity of the Thai Chinese community through the lens of Chinese-language newspapers published in Thailand from the early 20th century to the post–Cold War era. By analyzing news articles, editorials, and literary works, the study aims to uncover how these newspapers reflected and shaped Chinese identity, engaged with political movements in China, and negotiated with Thai state policies. The scope covers key historical periods, including the 1911 Revolution, the Cultural Revolution, Cold War politics, and the normalization of Sino-Thai relations.
