I am a translator and translation researcher who is particularly interested in how languages, translation and translators contribute to creating a better world by revealing unheard voice, bridging gaps of misunderstanding, and fostering equality and diversity.

Thesis Title: Revealing multiple stakeholders' ethical perspectives on translation technology: a Q-methodological study (Tentative)

Nowadays, increased technologization has not only challenged the well-established ethical principles for translators, but has also given rise to new ethical concerns for multiple stakeholders, particularly regarding broader issues of fairness, equality and social justice. This study adopts Q method to investigate multiple stakeholders’ ethical perspectives on translation technology. By gathering ethical viewpoints from multiple stakeholders, including technology developers, translators, and clients and general consumers, the study is expected to unravel a more comprehensive ethical landscape characterized by intertwined and conflicting interests. It also seeks to provide implications for the operationalization of technology ethics within the translation industry.
