The NUS Economics Society hosted the annual National Economics & Financial Management Challenge (NEFMC) on June 16^th 2024. Former MAS Managing Director Mr. Ravi Menon was the guest of honour.  The judges for the competition were Mr. Euben Paracuelles, Chief ASEAN Economist (Nomura), Ms. Caroline Chang, Managing Director of Group Finance (DBS Bank), Professor Danny Quah, Dean and Li Ka Shing Professor in Economics (Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy), Mr. Nikhil Bhandari, Head of ASEAN Equity Research (Goldman Sachs) and  Mr. Chetan Agarwal, Head of Strategic Partnerships (Amazon Web Services)

 

Participants from this year’s competition came from a variety of junior colleges, international schools & polytechnics. We commend all participants for their efforts, and especially congratulate the three winning teams:
