Fees and Payment (Master of Economics)

The tuition fee for the August 2023 intake is $52,500 (inclusive of GST) for the entire program for all students irrespective of nationality.  Other fees payable follow the prevailing rates set by the University (https://fass.nus.edu.sg/prospective-students/graduate/coursework-programmes/fees-gradcoursework/).

Payment should be made in installments as scheduled below:

Full-time students
•  $13,125 upon acceptance of offer*
•  $19,688 by 15 August 2023
•  $19,687 by 16 January 2024

Part-time students

•  $13,125 upon acceptance of offer*
•  $13,125 by 15 August 2023
•  $13,125 by 16 January 2024
•  $13,125 by 14 August 2024

*Acceptance fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Students (the August 2023 Intake) who wish to take additional courses or who need to repeat a course must pay $5,250 per course.

Mode of Payment

Application Fee:

Local/International applicants

1. Cheque/Bankdraft - Address payee as "National University of Singapore" and post it together with the application form.

2. NETS - Make payment at NUS Student Service Centre personally with the payment form, and submit the proof of payment with the application form thereafter.

3. Online Payment by any of the methods (available only for online application)
- VISA, Mastercard or AMEX
- Debit Card (applicants must have an online banking account with either of the following banks - POSB/DBS, UOB or Citibank).

Tuition Fee and Other Fees:

- Payment can be made via GIRO for convenience.
- Other acceptable modes of payment include cheque, bank draft/cashier's order, credit card, internet banking.
- Penalty charges will be levied on late payments.
