Fees and Payment (Master of Economics)
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee for the August 2026 and January 2027 (for Applied Economics track only) intake is $58,350 (inclusive of GST) for the entire program for all students. Other fees payable follow the prevailing rates set by the University (https://fass.nus.edu.sg/prospective-students/graduate/coursework-programmes/fees-gradcoursework/). Payment should be made in installments as scheduled below:
Full-time students
• $14,588 upon acceptance of offer*
• $21,881 in first semester
• $21,881 in second semester
Part-time students
• $14,588 upon acceptance of offer*
• $14,588 in first semester
• $14,587 in second semester
• $14,587 in third semester
*Acceptance fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Students (from the August 2026 and January 2027 intake) who wish to take additional courses or who need to repeat a course must pay $5,835 per course.
Mode of Payment
Application Fee:
Local/International applicants
1. Cheque/Bankdraft - Address payee as "National University of Singapore" and post it together with the application form.
2. Online Payment by any of the methods (available only for online application)
- VISA, Mastercard or AMEX
- Debit Card (applicants must have an online banking account with either of the following banks - POSB/DBS, UOB or Citibank).
Tuition Fee and Other Fees:
- Payment can be made via GIRO for convenience.
- Other acceptable modes of payment include cheque, bank draft/cashier's order, credit card, internet banking.
- Penalty charges will be levied on late payments.
