Roberta Rabellotti, Department of Political and Social Sciences, University of Pavia

The Centre was delighted to host Dr. Roberta Rabellotti from 19th to 23rd November 2018. During her stay, Dr Rabellotti delivered an insightful seminar on Innovation in Global Value Chains. She also participated in stimulating research discussions with several Centre members. Her current work is on how transnational corporations and their foreign direct investment can improve innovation in host countries through developing industrial linkages and participation in global value chains. She is working with academic partners in China and other parts of Asia, in addition to her ongoing work in Latin America.
