MSF and Tote Board representatives share why they have chosen SSR and what they hope the funding will achieve. SSR also shares how the funding will support the Capability Development Programme, which consists of 4 areas: training programmes, SSR’s Research Capability Development Service, conferences and seminars, and publications.

This includes two 13-week long mentoring programmes and short workshops for practitioners who want to equip themselves with research and evaluation skills.

This is a research advisory service to help build research capability of social workers and public service officers who engage in social service research.

These provide opportunities for academics, researchers, social work practitioners and public service officers to share and learn from research findings.

These include SSR’s annual conference proceedings, a quarterly research bulletin “SSR Snippet”, and guides on specific research methods.
