Evaluation of Growing Resilient Youth in Transition (GRYT) Programme

Overview

This study aims to evaluate the Growing Resilient Youth in Transition (GRYT) programme, which supports youths in their transitions from residential institutions to the community. Administered by Trybe, a social service agency, GRYT targets youths aged 13 to 21 years old who are about to be discharged from Children’s Homes (CHs). The RE-AIM (Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, Maintenance) framework is adopted for this programme evaluation. Perspectives from key stakeholders, such as youth participants, their caregivers, programme staff, and CH staff, will be gathered through online surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, and observations of community network sessions. By conducting a thorough evaluation, this study seeks to understand the programme’s effectiveness and generate insights that could inform future iterations, enabling better outreach to youths in need and fostering greater positive changes in their lives.
