About the Course

In this course, learners will be equipped with competencies on financial capability which focuses on working lower-income families to achieve income stability, improve their financial capability and begin asset building with the overarching aim to improve their longer-term financial well-being by taking on a life course perspective.

Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Support clients who have undergone social work interventions and have achieved some stability in their lives
  • Continue the journey of empowering the clients towards building their financial resilience.

Who Should Attend

Social Service Practitioners/Government Officers/Public Servants working with lower-income/financially vulnerable individuals and families.

Course Requirements

At least a diploma (in any discipline) and applicant is part of an organisation that works with lower-income individuals/families.

Pricing after SSG Funding* (Singapore Citizen below 40 years / Singapore Permanent Resident) $833.85
Pricing after SSG Funding* (Singapore Citizen aged 40 years and above) $323.85

*SSG Funding Information: Participants must meet a minimum attendance of 75%, complete and submit all assignment(s), achieve a 'Competent' grade in assessment, and submit the feedback form in order to qualify for the funding. Failing which, full course fees (incl. GST) will be payable.
