Assistant Professor

Dr. Mengze Li is a tenure-track assistant professor at the Department of Geography. He received his PhD degree at Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, Germany. Before joining NUS, he worked at Stanford University and the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor as postdoctoral researcher. His research interests are carbon cycle and atmospheric chemistry, such as greenhouse gas emission quantification, air quality, and biogeochemistry. His research combines instrument development, field work, big data analysis, satellite and modeling, and AI and machine learning.
