Co-Creating Adolescent Flourishing in the Digital Age: Strengthening Resilience and Well-being for Sustainable Education
Overview
Adolescents in Singapore face rising psychosocial challenges linked to academic pressures and high digital connectivity, underscoring the need for school-based interventions that promote well-being beyond risk mitigation. This project develops and evaluates a culturally relevant, co-created “digital age flourishing” intervention to strengthen adolescents’ resilience, socio-emotional competencies, and overall well-being. Grounded in positive psychology and the PERMA framework, the programme integrates elements of well-being theory and evidence-based practices, using participatory co-design with youths, educators, and experts to ensure relevance and sustainability.
