As many of you have expressed an interest in Banking and Finance, we have invited an alumna, Ms Chen Jingxuan, and her colleague, Ms Jayati Katakwar, to share their experience working in the front office of a global bank.

Here are their short bios.

Jayati holds a civil engineering degree from IIT Bombay. She moved to Short Term Interest Rate Trading (STIRT) desk from valuation control team. She has experiences of working in multiple geographical locations. She is also an advocate of BofA mentoring program and is a mentor to many junior talents. Recently, Jayati was invited to Singapore Management University as a guest lecturer and conducted a sharing session on STIRT trading.

Jingxuan is an alumnus of NUS Economics and joined Bank of America as an intern and fresh grad in the STIRT desk. Jingxuan has various internship experiences in trading, investments, risk management and consulting. During her time at NUS, she was part of the NUS Economics Society and participated in various competitions such as the GIC Stock Pitch Competition and Maybank Hackfest.
