Graduates from the Department have found employment in the civil service, at research institutes and in the private sector. The employability record of SASP graduates has been outstanding. SASP Majors are now high ranking professionals in the Government (Defence, Foreign Affairs, MTI, Home Affairs, MOE), in Academia, Media industry, and as consultants in the private sector.

As in the case of undergraduates, the career trajectory of students who have completed their PhD or MA from SASP has also been very good with strong representation at renowned universities globally, alongside some who are in the heritage and museum sector, and in Government.
