Dr Rajshree Jetly was educated in India and Australia, obtaining her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in History from Delhi University, and an M. Phil in South Asian Studies from the Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi). She went on to complete her PhD in Political Science and International Relations at the Australian National University. Dr Jetly is currently Lecturer at the South Asian Studies Programme, prior to which she was a Research Fellow at the Institute of South Asian Studies, National University of Singapore. Her areas of research include security, confidence-building and regional cooperation in South Asia, with a focus on Pakistan. Her publications have appeared in international journals such as Pacific Review and Asian Ethnicity. She is the editor of Pakistan in Regional and Global Politics (Routledge, New Delhi, 2009) and co-editor of Perspectives in South Asian Security (World Scientific, Singapore, 2012).
