The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) Student Ambassadors are a cadre of outstanding and unique individuals. Our Ambassadors are both a student and leader deputised to represent FASS. An individual empathetic to the needs of others and uses their influence to understand and support those around them. They understand the importance of communication and are adept at clearly conveying their thoughts, actions and words. The FASS Ambassador is also someone intellectually curious, constantly on a quest for new knowledge and experiences across disciplines and geographies. They are ready to support, trained to nurture and inspired to serve. Whilst representing the Faculty at various events, they are also inspired to support the organisers with programming and operational aspects.

They exemplify and represent the student community at various FASS public profile events, ready to engage faculty, staff, students, parents and alumni. By relating and sharing their experiences, they engage with various stakeholders including faculty, peers, prospective students and the public. This programme enables Ambassadors to develop and hone industry-relevant skills, boost their confidence and grooms them for the professional world.
