Inaugural Career Navigator: Employers Join CHS-CFG Forum

On 8 February 2022, more than 30 employers joined a unique forum presided over by Vice-Deans Assoc Prof Loy Hui Chieh (NUS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences), Assoc Prof Chng Shu Sin (NUS Faculty of Science), and Ms Joan Tay, Director, NUS Centre for Future-ready Graduates.

During the event, which is part of the inaugural Career Navigator series, the National University of Singapore introduced the NUS College of Humanities and Sciences and its unique interdisciplinary approach to curriculum, and moderated vibrant discussions and the sharing of strategies that students can employ to integrate successfully into the workforce.

In the highly engaging session, representatives from Singapore’s premier industries provided their experiences with internship programmes, and the University shared its forward plans and how its recently launched digital platforms – the Internship-As-A-Service (IAAS) and conNectUS – have been designed to boost the future-readiness of NUS students and graduates.
