Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr Tan Wenn Er is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Geography at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She holds a PhD in Geography from NUS, having previously attained her master’s degree from the London School of Economics (MSc Culture and Society) and her bachelor’s degree from Goldsmiths, University of London (BA (Hons) Sociology).

She is interested in the social life of cities, focusing on policy mobilities and the politics of placemaking and its implications for urban governance more broadly. She currently teaches in the department and is working on a research project on education policy mobilities.
