There are no formal pre-requisites for entry into the Department.

While we accept Arts students without GCE ‘A’ level geography as well as students from the Science stream, the Department seeks to attract students who show a high degree of interest in Geography. This interest may be indicated in their selection of Geography courses in the first year. There are also no qualifying tests for entry into the Department. The Department, however, expects its students to have a good command of the English Language.
