Dr Farah is a clinical psychologist and clinical neuropsychologist with experience working in both public and private health care settings. She believes in a person-centred approach to therapy and respects the individual's history, cultural and beliefs systems. Dr Farah's clinical interests include anxiety, depression, health (chronic pain, sleep issues, adjusting to health conditions/unexpected diagnosis), stress and coping, and adjustment to role-transitions (motherhood, retirement, empty-nest, NS). As a clinical neuropsychologist, she has experience in the assessment of cognitive functioning across the lifespan (6 to 90 years old) for acquired brain injury (e.g., TBI, stroke, tumour), neurodevelopmental issues and neurodegenerative disorders (e.g., Dementia, Parkinson's disease, MS). She also provides cognitive rehabilitation and psycho-emotional services to support return-to-school or return-to-work efforts. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, and is a registered psychologist and approved supervisor with the Singapore Psychological Society.
